Product Overview

The environmental friendly gas insulated cabinet is a new integrated indoor & outdoor SF₆-free power distribution equipment independently developed by Mingtuo Electric. It abandons traditional sulfur hexafluoride greenhouse gas and adopts dry air or nitrogen as eco-friendly insulating and arc-extinguishing medium. High voltage disconnector, earthing switch, vacuum circuit breaker, CT/PT and secondary measurement & control units are all integrated into a sealed gas tank.

The equipment supports both ring network power supply and terminal single power supply modes. It is widely applied in urban power grid renovation, residential communities, commercial plazas, PV energy storage power stations, industrial parks and temporary construction power supply projects. It serves as a low-carbon eco-friendly replacement for traditional SF₆ gas insulated cabinets, American pad-mounted transformers and European prefabricated substations.

3.1 Zero Greenhouse Gas Emission, Low Carbon & Eco-friendly

The sealed gas tank uses dry air or high-purity nitrogen as insulating and arc-extinguishing medium without SF₆ greenhouse gas or fluorine-containing hazardous substances, with near-zero global warming potential. It complies with national dual-carbon policies and green power grid bidding standards. The insulating medium can be directly exhausted and recycled after equipment decommissioning, cutting hazardous waste disposal costs and realizing full-life-cycle low-carbon operation.

3.2 Compact Integrated Sealed Gas Tank, Small Occupied Area

All primary high-voltage components are integrated inside a sealed stainless steel gas tank. The overall cabinet size is much smaller than European box substations and traditional air-insulated switchgears of the same capacity. The integrated modular design greatly reduces civil foundation costs, simplifies sea & land transportation and enables fast on-site installation and positioning.

3.3 Fully Insulated Safe Structure, Low Maintenance

All live high-voltage parts are enclosed inside the metal sealed gas tank with no exposed live components. The fully enclosed insulation design ensures zero electrification on the cabinet surface for safe touch operation. Independent earthing circuits and multi mechanical interlocks (closing/earthing/cabinet door interlock) prevent electric shock accidents caused by misoperation.

The sealed gas tank isolates moisture, dust and condensation to avoid insulation medium oxidation and aging, supporting long-term maintenance-free operation under normal working conditions. Standard plug-in transformers and secondary terminals allow quick replacement of faulty components without disassembling the main gas tank.

3.4 Anti-corrosion Outdoor Cabinet, Adaptable to Harsh Environments

The cabinet is made of thick cold-rolled steel sheet with outdoor special anti-rust electrostatic spraying coating, resistant to rain, sand, high humidity and extreme temperature. Sloped top design accelerates rainwater drainage, and multi-sealed cabinet doors with IP-rated protection adapt to rainy southern areas, frigid northern regions and coastal salt fog environments.

3.5 Customizable Low-Voltage Compartment & Intelligent Expansion

The low-voltage compartment is pre-installed with abundant mounting rails, supporting optional molded case circuit breakers, multi-function power meters, ATS automatic transfer switches, reactive power compensation modules and intelligent monitoring devices. Standard RS485 communication interface enables seamless connection with smart power distribution and PV energy storage remote monitoring systems to realize remote measurement, remote signaling and remote control.

3.6 Low Loss & High Reliable Main Circuit

Built-in vacuum interrupter delivers stable breaking performance with strong short-circuit and overload resistance. Optimized copper busbar structure cuts circuit loss and running noise. The cabinet supports long-time heavy-load continuous operation, ideal for high-load scenarios such as factories and energy storage stations.

Structure

The fully sealed stainless steel gas tank integrates vacuum circuit breaker, disconnector, earthing switch, gas pressure gauge and explosion-proof pressure relief device. All live high-voltage components are sealed inside dry air/nitrogen medium to isolate external moisture and dust. Pressure monitoring and gas leakage detection interfaces are reserved for online inspection. Equipped with full five-prevention mechanical interlocks to avoid dangerous misoperations such as earthing switch closing under load and opening main cabinet door live.

5.1 Independent Low-Voltage Outgoing Compartment (Right Side)

Physically separated from the high-voltage gas tank by steel partition. Standardized rail layout allows installation of MCCBs, multi-function meters, ATS, reactive power compensation and intelligent communication modules. Independent secondary wiring terminal compartment ensures tidy wiring and convenient maintenance.

One-piece cold-rolled steel cabinet with sloped top for rapid rainwater drainage. Anti-rust anti-corrosion electrostatic coating applied overall. Multiple independently lockable cabinet doors separate high-voltage, low-voltage and operation compartments for safer zoned maintenance.
