RM22TG20 Simple Phase Sequence and Phase Loss Relay
Core Functions: Monitors only for incorrect phase sequence and phase loss in three-phase power; does not detect over-voltage or under-voltage conditions.
Terminal Definitions
L1/L2/L3: Connect directly to three-phase 380V power supply;
11/12/14: Fault output contacts.
Practical Functions
1. Reverse Rotation Prevention: If the three-phase lines are connected incorrectly (wrong phase sequence), the relay contacts open and the motor cannot start, preventing equipment damage caused by the reverse rotation of fans or air compressors.
2. Phase Loss Protection: If one of the three live wires is disconnected, the control circuit is immediately cut off, preventing the motor from overheating and burning out due to phase loss.
Typical Applications: Fans, chiller units, and standard three-phase water pumps.
